| Lido Marini is a seaside resort in the province of Lecce in the lower Salento, hamlet of Ugento, at about 8 km, and a smaller percentage of the area belonging to the municipality of Salve. It is located between Torre Pali (Salve common) and Torre Mozza (Ugento). It stretches to the foot of one of the "Serre" the head of Leuca, at the southern tip of Puglia region. The coast is characterized by sandy beaches and shallow water, there is also a significant stretch of low cliffs, heading to South Lido Marini is situated on the "dry Ugento", an area of some square kilometers of area in which the fondali remain particularly low. |
